On April 12 and 13, the Grasse theater presents at 7:40 PM the famous play by Edmond Rostand, “Cyrano de Bergerac.” Director Gilles Bouillon joyfully embraces the challenge of a myth and a text!
In this play, the director of the Regional Drama Center of Tours directs Christophe Brault, a flamboyant and generous actor, surrounded by 18 partners tasked with interpreting some 40 roles. The plot, reminiscent of Racine: Cyrano loves Roxane who loves Christian, is treated in a style both precious and burlesque.
All the ingredients are gathered to make Cyrano de Bergerac a theatrical fresco where romantic action competes with swashbuckling exploits, moving from the world of the précieuses to that of the musketeers. For our greatest pleasure.
