On Tuesday starting at 12 p.m. at the Nice Equestrian Club, as an extension of the “Ensemble on dit Cap” event organized annually, the city of Nice, in partnership with the Departmental Equestrian Committee and the Nice Equestrian Club, is offering a day of discovery centered around horses in a site dedicated to equestrian activities, with trained staff.
This day at the Nice Equestrian Club is dedicated to adults with psychological, intellectual, motor, or sensory disabilities. Nine establishments are registered, totaling 36 participants.
After a shared session dedicated to discovering the animal and its environment, the groups will be divided into four workshops: carriage driving, pony fun, vaulting, and pedestrian-horse license. This last workshop will be led by officers from the Municipal Police (equestrian brigade and a team that intervenes in schools to raise awareness about urban mobility).
The first three workshops will be supervised by staff and equestrian instructors from the equestrian club and the Departmental Equestrian Committee, accompanied by ETAPS from the Sports, Disability, and Health Cell and trainees in BP (Professional Certificate) training.
