The CGT had announced that the anti-government demonstration (which should rather be called a riot…) would be “enormous”.
If the participation numbers are disputed, the ratio of 1 to 10 between the police statement and that of the unions opens a new era in statistical sciences. That of virtual and invisible protesters!
Perhaps this is the “enormity” of the protesting unions.
In any case, masked protesters, shattered shop windows, completely destroyed bus shelters on Boulevard des Invalides, graffiti everywhere on the walls, the façade of Necker Hospital smashed with a sledgehammer… are not signs of a great success.
Is this what unionism is? When is the next time, because one can always do better… in the worst!
