About fifty performances, twenty-five companies, and thirteen performance venues are on the program for the twelfth edition of the Déantibulations Festival.
This is sure to delight the ever-growing number of “déantibulateurs” coming to tread the cobbled streets of Antibes.
These moments of sharing emotions beyond social, generational, or cultural differences will take place from June 11 to June 14.
The launch is scheduled for Thursday evening, June 11, on the forecourt, façade, and terrace of Anthéa, which will transform into play areas for artists who have chosen the public space as their place for artistic expression.
Starting the following day and throughout the weekend, schools, public squares, and the harbor’s pétanque court will host performances.
No designated stage, no numbered seat, no reservation required:
enough to confuse some spectators used to consulting their ticket for seating.
According to Olivier Riouffe, president of Acla, the organizing association: “Let’s transgress the codes of dark theaters, and attend open-air performances for which the volunteers from the Association Culture Loisirs are the ushers.
Let’s go out and ‘déantibulate’! The marine gate once again opens to ‘déantibulateurs’ of all ages and backgrounds.”
And may everyone find their joy there!
