For several months, the association “Tous citoyens!” has been assisting unaccompanied minors in Nice, helping them with the procedures to obtain child protection.
Many citizens are willing to help, according to their availability, but they are wondering how to proceed. Above all, the question arises about the legal framework, what should be done by public authorities, and what can legally or illegally be done at an individual level.
