Nice has experienced a less significant spread of the virus over the past few days. According to figures released by health authorities, the average number of positive tests over the last seven days has decreased by 30/100.
Other data indicate a decrease in the number of hospitalized patients. According to public health data, COVID-19 cases have decreased to 23,327, including 208 new admissions, compared to 24,888, which included 372 new admissions.
Hospital services are also experiencing this decrease, with the number of patients dropping to 1,557 on Sunday, whereas a week earlier there were 1,640. Similarly, daily admissions have dropped from 35 to 19 cases in just one week.
The results are thus very optimistic for the city of Nice, especially during the summer period when it hosts a large number of tourists, primarily from abroad. It remains to be seen whether this decrease in cases will persist over time.
