Decrease in rent by five euros: Patrick Allemand requests it be implemented at Côte d’Azur Habitat

Latest News

After the government’s decision to reduce the APL (Personalized Housing Assistance) contribution by 5 euros (!), the controversy hasn’t died down.

The statement from the President of the Republic, who asked landlords to decrease rents by an amount equivalent to the reduction, has given wings to the former socialist opponent at the Metropolitan Council who found a good opportunity to create some buzz.

In a letter, he asked the President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, Christian Estrosi, to ensure that the main operator in social housing, Côte d’Azur Habitat, sets an example and reduces its tenants’ rents by 5 euros to offset the decrease in APL by the same amount!

We are waiting for the response, if there will be one, from the Metropolis President who does not like to be outdone in gestures of propaganda.
