Philippe Bailbé has just been appointed Chief of Staff to the President of the Department of Alpes-Maritimes, Eric Ciotti. He replaces Franck Robine, Director General of Services, who had been serving in an interim capacity for this position following the departure of Franck-Philippe Georgin.
A graduate of the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr and a Doctor of Law, Philippe Bailbé served as a project officer to the advisor for security policies in the cabinet of Nicolas Sarkozy, then Minister of the Interior and Regional Development, and later for Michèle Alliot-Marie, Minister of the Interior, Overseas Territories, and Local Authorities.
Previously the Regional Director of the National Center for Territorial Civil Service in Île-de-France, Philippe Bailbé joined the Department of Alpes-Maritimes in 2012 as Deputy Director General in charge of the development of human solidarity, and later as Deputy to the Director General of Services, responsible for resources and means.
