Departmental elections 2015: The National Front continues its progress in the Alpes-Maritimes

Latest News

These elections are just a step and an additional foothold for the National Front in our department.

In fact, in ten cantons, the National Front candidates exceed 40% and even reach 44% in Menton. Overall, they collect 38.03%, compared to 32.87% in the first round.

Marie-Christine Arnautu, the “leader” of the FN in the department, confirms her statements already expressed on Sunday evening: “The deleterious, vulgar, and anti-democratic campaign of the second round attests to it: all means were employed to prevent voters from making their choice peacefully. Slander, insults, threats, or even identity theft or intimidation of our delegates in the polling stations… nothing was spared for the National Front candidates. Their only fault: running in the elections before the French under national and patriotic colors.”

Then she moves on to a more political analysis: “But that did not discourage the voters who massively gave us their trust. These 108,059 voters will not, however, be represented on the departmental council, with Eric Ciotti’s so-called hard right preferring to elect a communist councilor rather than a candidate from the national camp. These great lesson-givers only love democracy when it allows them to stay among themselves and purr quietly without constructive opposition.”

Her right-hand man Marc-Andrรฉ Domergue takes over: “The National Front is now the only opposition force to the Estrosi-Ciotti system in the Alpes-Maritimes. Even outside the departmental council, we will be vigilant at all times and will be there to denounce all the excesses of this clan. They can no longer behave as if they were alone in the world.”

For him, the game is not over: “It is tirelessly that we all get back to work today to conquer the PACA region.”
