Unemployment increased again in August in France (+0.6%), reaching 3.54 million unemployed individuals.
It increased slightly less in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (+0.3%), bringing the number of unemployed to 329,700 at the regional level.
Alpes-Maritimes continues on a negative trend with 71,300 registered (+0.8%) in category A (those who have not worked at all during the month).
In fact, nearly 600 additional people registered as unemployed in Alpes-Maritimes.
