The City of Nice maintains a deep friendship with Jewish institutions and commends the dynamism of the Jewish community on the Côte d’Azur.

This dinner will be an occasion for exchanges that will allow us to celebrate the release of Gilad Shalit, discuss the Aladdin Project, initiated under the auspices of the Shoah Memorial Foundation and sponsored by UNESCO, whose next meeting will take place in Nice, as well as the actions carried out within “Alpes-Maritimes Fraternité,” a space for interreligious meetings and dialogue aimed at promoting values of tolerance and respect for others.

As the representative of the Jewish community of France to public authorities, CRIF works in the field of combating all forms of anti-Semitism, racism, intolerance, and exclusion, for the preservation of the memory of the Shoah, and affirms its solidarity with Israel by supporting a peaceful solution to the Middle East conflict.
