Disappearance of Camille Muffat in a helicopter accident

Latest News

The Nice swimmer, Camille Muffat, and nine other people, including the navigator Florence Arthaud and the boxer Alexis Vastine, tragically disappeared in the collision of two helicopters in Argentina.

The three athletes and the accompanying journalists were participating in the filming of the show “Dropped,” which was to be broadcast on TF1.

A tragic accident that mourns the world of Nice sports, French sports, and sports worldwide.

At only 25 years old, Camille Muffat was undeniably one of the most talented swimmers of her generation. The very young retiree from the pools, Olympic Champion, and triple medalist in London, leaves a significant void in the world of swimming.

The two helicopters reportedly collided just after their respective takeoffs. Besides the three athletes, the two Argentine pilots and the five French members of the filming crew died. A French delegation is expected to visit the site during the day.
