Away from the bling, it is so relaxing to find oneself seated at “La voix de son maître”! Opened 5 years ago, the crêperie offers a unique 1930s atmosphere. Gramophones, 78 RPM records, carousel horses, the decor transports us to another time. The musical background does not disappoint, and you can almost smell the countryside flowers on the tables. If a customer asks to play an old vinyl, Hervé, the owner, obliges to, as he says, “bring a bit of a dream, an expression.” And it’s very successful, every detail seems to have been thought out and exudes passion. The phonograph? Love at first sight. The flowers? They represent life. The decoration? Nostalgic love of my grandmother, answers Hervé, who insists on being called by his first name. Together with Fabienne, this friendly duo warmly runs their restaurant.

Tasting

And the crêpes and galettes live up to expectations… Hervé was trained by the best crêpe makers, and you can tell. Having completed a course in Brittany, his technique is well-honed. The ingredients are of high quality, the batter is hand-spun, and the presentation is meticulous. The house specialties are “la foie gras” and “la saint-jacques,” noble products. Even the jams are homemade.
Hervé used to be a pastry chef. For 27 years, he has been making crêpes. Attracted to circles, he performs the art of the bilig with brilliance.

Bretagne, you have a hold on us!
