As part of its Bike Plan, the City of Nice and the Environment House are organizing a day of activities and workshops centered around cycling in front of Louis Nucera College, this Saturday, December 4, 2021!
It’s time to get on the saddle! Today, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., cycling enthusiasts are gathering in front of Louis Nucera College (2 Pont René Coty).
The Viavélo association is organizing a bike swap to sell or acquire second-hand bikes. The bike drop-off is from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the sale takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
With the aim of giving your bikes a second life, the Cyclotrope association helps repair bikes and offers advice.
In collaboration with the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, the association is also offering a free bike marking stand. This initiative helps deter bike theft. To take advantage of this service, a reservation with the Environment House is required.

To engage with citizens about metropolitan transport policies, Gaël Nofri, Deputy Mayor of Transport, Parking, and Urban Logistics, will be present at 10:30 a.m.
In turn, Richard Chemla, Deputy Mayor in charge of Health, Ecology, and Well-being and Vice President of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, will be present at 1 p.m.
Throughout the day, gifts such as bike signal lights, reflective bands, neck warmers, and toolkits will be distributed to residents.
