Disney voices expected at the Play Azur Festival 2026

Latest News

The Play Azur Festival has unveiled part of its lineup for April 2026 in Nice. Five voice actors and singers connected to the Disney universe will be present, offering concerts and engaging with the public.

The Play Azur Festival is preparing for its 9th edition. The event will take place on April 25th and 26th, 2026, at the Palais des Expositions in Nice. The organizers announced the appearance of five guests from dubbing and singing connected to pop culture and the Disney universe: Emmylou Homs, Maëva Meline, Emmanuel Dahl, Alexandre Gillet, and Donald Reignoux.

This announcement is part of a program that annually gathers visitors around popular cultures. The 2026 edition will notably offer a musical highlight revolving around songs from Disney animated films.

A Disney Song Concert

Part of the program will be based on a stage performance by Maëva Meline and Emmanuel Dahl. The two artists will perform well-known titles live. The concert draws from repertoires associated with several works, including Tangled, Hercules, Brave, and The Lion King.

The goal is to reach multiple generations. The voices on stage are associated with well-known French versions. The setup relies on live performances and closeness with the audience.

Alongside the concert, three other guests will participate in meet-and-greet sessions with visitors. Emmylou Homs, associated with the character Anna in Frozen, will be present during the weekend. Alexandre Gillet, notably known for dubbing Captain America, will also be there. Donald Reignoux, the French voice of Olaf in Frozen and Hiccup in How to Train Your Dragon, will complete this lineup.

These presences will allow direct exchanges with the public. The festival focuses on voice recognition and character attachment to create a connection. Visitors will thus be able to associate voices with faces and revisit iconic works.

The organizers specify that the Play Azur Festival remains an independent event, without any official ties to Disney. References to this universe are only meant to situate the paths of the guest artists.

VIP Packs Offered to the Public

The 2026 edition also introduces a new offering. The Play Azur Festival is introducing VIP Packs named Silver and Gold. This formula responds to a demand expressed by a part of the public during previous editions.

The two packs offer distinct content. The VIP Gold Pack includes all the elements of the VIP Silver Pack. Each package contains items related to the event, such as a T-shirt, a tote bag, a poster, or a mug. Other products are announced without being detailed.

Holders of these packs will be able to participate in a raffle. This mechanism will allow winning a photo with the guests present for autograph signing. This meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, at 6 PM. The organizers specify that purchasing a pack does not grant entry to the festival.

This offer also aims to support the organization. The Play Azur Festival relies partly on the commitment of volunteers. The packs constitute an additional source of funding and a means to involve visitors.

The festival’s visual identity remains entrusted to an artist. For the third consecutive year, the French mangaka Enaibi created the official poster. The visual gathers several references that the public will find on-site.

This choice is in line with previous editions. The festival highlights creators connected to graphic universes close to manga and pop culture. The poster plays a role in presenting the event and its promotion.

Practical Information

Tickets are offered starting at 9 euros. The festival will open from 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday. The ticketing is accessible online, as are the details through the Play Azur Festival’s social media.

Situated on the French Riviera, the Play Azur Festival is part of a broader set of activities. The event is part of the Play Azur galaxy, which also includes Play Azur Event and Play Azur Prod. These entities develop projects related to immersive experiences and the dissemination of scientific and cultural content.

With this program, the 2026 edition highlights the voices and songs associated with well-known works. The festival continues a focus on the encounter between the public and pop culture actors. The presence of artists connected to the Disney universe is one of the announced focuses for this new edition in Nice.
