In 1995, the big league discovered him as the opening act for Patricia Kaas, Catherine Lara, Gilbert Bรฉcaud, Claude Nougaro… Tours and concerts multiplied between Paris and the Province, and TV shows were also present. Lรฉo MISSIR, Jean Claude DUBOIS were the founding members of his beginnings. He recorded at the Palais des Congrรจs de Paris, with Eddy Mitchel’s musicians, a cover “AMALYPENSE”, followed by one of his songs “Loving Road”. His career took off but got lost in the clouds after a change in direction within his record label, Warner.
In 2000, he recorded several compositions at Studio Atlantis in New York, with Mr. John Mahonnay as the artistic director. The Majors feared the too American and avant-garde color of the product. Today, it would likely be a hit. In 2002, he worked with Rachid Barry and Didier Barbelivien, who wrote him new songs such as “Bad Student, Don’t Stop at My Place or I Don’t Love You Anymore.” Great authors and composers trust him and await to see him shine as he deserves.
But this artist adds another star to his life: sporting challenges. Having undergone heart surgery, he decided to run more and farther, to offer hope to all children suffering from heart defects by supporting the Association, Mรฉcรฉnat Chirurgie Cardiaque. Marathons follow one another, but also mountain races, 54th at the French championship in Auron among 300 high-level athletes, kilometers passing, the Bonette race, Isola 2000, duathlons, triathlons, 24-hour team events… As he himself says; “in sports, unlike showbiz, success is owed only to one’s work and training. One is exactly the reflection of one’s victories or defeats. Artistic success depends largely on luck, the right moment, and the right team.”
And as everything that does not kill you makes you stronger, Dominic LESCURE today returns even more determined with several new songs, including an album in preparation, “TERRE DE LEGENDES”
First, a remarkable work, “Nice, Land of Light,” a tribute written for his region, his city that he loves passionately but also for all the people of Nice.
After having tremendous success during the opening of the flower battles in February 2007 in front of almost 200,000 people in a few days, but also at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure, during Children’s Day, he recently inaugurated, in music, the “Place Massรฉna” on June 16.

This recording was produced by the international Garibaldi committee and made for the Bicentennial of the birth of the hero of the 2 worlds, Dominic LESCURE performed it as a preview at the Palais de la Mรฉditerranรฉe on May 31, 2007, for the launch of the online campaign: www.nice-garibaldi.org/lescure
On July 3, Fnac in Nice welcomed him to sign the first GARIBALDI singles “on the shelves” in front of a very attentive and concerned crowd for this event.
On July 4, he sang GARIBALDI at the Acropolis accompanied by a large philharmonic orchestra. On the same day at Albert 1st garden, before the grand popular ball, and this time accompanied by his musicians, he performed his new songs. From classic to rock, in the same evening, it had to be done. It was done!
A tour is already on the horizon, in France and in Italy (countries very eager for the single), as well as in South America.
Dominic LESCURE owes his ambition to this passion that gives wings, even on dark days when the spotlight goes out.
His grand return to light and his city will mark this year 2007, so … let the curtain rise!!!
