The Territorial Health Council (CTS) of Alpes-Maritimes brings together health professionals and service providers, users, local authorities, state and social security representatives, as well as qualified individuals from the department.

During this session, the members of the Territorial Health Council of Alpes-Maritimes 06 discussed the current health situation. The members of the CTS unanimously wanted to take a firm stance on the issue of Covid-19 vaccination.

Recognizing that the 4th wave is inevitable, for the CTS “it is urgent to build barriers to limit the impact of this new health crisis, which depending on its scale, could lead to a new saturation of our hospital system and a major social and economic crisis.”

The CTS considers that “for health and social care professionals, in the broadest sense of the term, vaccination is an ethical requirement and a professional duty. Mandatory vaccination becomes an urgent necessity; for the entire population, vaccination represents the guarantee of individual protection and the only solution to reduce the chains of transmission.”

Consequently, the Territorial Health Council of Alpes-Maritimes 06 is launching a solemn appeal for mobilization to urgently encourage the widest possible vaccination.
