EasyJet will launch a new direct route between Nice Côte d’Azur airport and Cairo, Egypt, starting October 27, 2026. Two flights per week will be offered until March 27, 2027.
Nice Côte d’Azur airport will welcome a new route to Egypt starting this autumn. EasyJet will open direct flights between Nice and Cairo from October 27, 2026, according to the airport’s online schedule.
The low-cost airline will offer two rotations each week between the two cities. Tickets are already available for purchase.
Two flights per week between Nice and Cairo
The new Nice-Cairo route will operate every Tuesday and Saturday. The first flights are scheduled starting October 27, 2026. This route will be operated until March 27, 2027.
The fares displayed by EasyJet start at 54 euros for a one-way ticket. However, the price may vary depending on the date chosen and booking conditions.
The opening of this route was announced by Reginald Otten, Deputy General Manager for France and General Manager for North Africa at EasyJet. The airline is particularly betting on demand for North African destinations departing from Nice.
According to Reginald Otten, Egypt is a destination “experiencing strong growth in France and in Nice.” The launch of this route thus makes it possible to directly connect the Côte d’Azur to Egypt’s capital.
EasyJet already serves several destinations from Nice Côte d’Azur airport. In North Africa, routes exist in particular to Marrakech and Agadir in Morocco.
The airline also indicates that it is observing demand for short stays departing from Nice. Reginald Otten explains that “demand is particularly focused on city breaks, such as Prague or Madrid departing from Nice, but also on destinations where it is warm without being too hot.”
With this new route, travelers will be able to reach Cairo without a connection from Nice during the season scheduled by EasyJet.
