Therefore, an order has been issued to require businesses in the City of Nice with illuminated signs to limit their electricity consumption by turning them off from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting this evening.

Through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the OCAN, and Neighborhood Committees, all merchants and businesses have been informed.

Artificial lighting, particularly certain illuminated signs, represents significant and non-essential energy consumption compared to other uses of electrical energy.
