With the mission of training students and leaders to lead projects and people in a multicultural context, regularly ranked among the best European business schools, EDHEC offers a range of programs designed to meet the needs of businesses. Nearly 5,400 students and 5,500 executives in seminars are currently spread across its five campuses in Lille, Nice, Paris, London, and Singapore. On Wednesday, September 8, Daniel Haguet, Associate Director of the Financial Economics track, accompanied by Professor Renรฉ Garcia, welcomed the new Master of Science (MSc) cohort for a general presentation of the programs followed by a panel discussion, featuring among others, Richard Lacaille, Global Chief Financial Officer of State Street Global Advisor, one of the largest American asset management companies.

Increasing from 2009-2010 with 635 students, including 371 in the Master of Science in finance programs, the Financial Economics track is composed mainly of international students, with 50% of them coming from 45 countries. The most represented nationalities are China, India, Morocco, and Germany. The Master of Science program, entirely taught in English, is designed to prepare participants for a wide variety of international careers in corporate financial management, investment banking, private equity, commercial banking, and financial services. It is partnered with the CFA Institute, offering students the opportunity to complete their studies with a master’s degree while simultaneously preparing for a professional certification.

Thus, the EDHEC group contributes to the development and international influence of the City of Nice by attracting a significant number of students from around the world to pursue one of its high-level finance specializations on its Nice campus.
