EDHEC welcomed a new edition of the “L’Ouvre-Boîte” initiative developed by Apprentis d’Auteuil to enable young talents with limited educational qualifications from the Nice metropolitan area to start and consolidate their business activity.
L’Ouvre-Boîte Côte d’Azur is a program that allows young people with little or no qualifications to receive training in entrepreneurship.
The 12 new recruits were welcomed for a second cohort. Since the end of March, they have participated in a “booster” training on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, and after pitching in front of a jury, they will test their businesses in the market starting in May, thanks to two shops located in Old Nice and in the Centre Polygone Riviera.
Finally, each entrepreneur will be supported for 2 years in their search for funding, premises, and in the development of their business by a mentor, a senior business leader, and a network of business development experts committed to the project.
