The result was largely expected, but the announcement is always a moment of emotion and satisfaction: with 64% of the votes cast, the young LR candidate wins over her rival Michel Brutti (FN).

In the end, the runoff confirms the result of the first round and offers Marine Brenier the ticket to the National Assembly, where she will be the youngest elected member after Marion Marรฉchal Le Pen. Certainly, pink is a color making its place in the Palais Bourbon.

The turnout was 22.6%, slightly down from 33.3% in the first round. 11,733 ballots out of 88,149 registered voters bore the name of Marine Brenier.

The LR candidate won across the 28 municipalities of the district, always with a comfortable margin. Only in Duranus is the gap minimal (50.9%), but in terms of votes, itโ€™s 26 to 25!

The departmental capital had a “photocopy” score of the overall: 63.8%.

โ€œThank you all for this beautiful victory! This victory is that of our values, of our territory,โ€ was the first comment from a rightfully proud Marine Brenier.

The new deputy now has to fulfill the hopes that her voters have for her. First and foremost, not to be merely a spokesperson for her deputy, Christian Estrosi.
