Jennifer Salles-Barbosa, Vice President of the CCAS of Nice, Deputy Delegate for Solidarity to Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, was unanimously elected on Wednesday, March 31, as President of the Union Départementale des Centre Communaux d’Action Sociale des Alpes-Maritimes (UDCCAS).
This Union Départementale promotes the exchange of practices and experiences among the different CCAS and participates in decisions concerning local social policies. It brings together the CCAS of the department, particularly those of municipalities with more than 8,000 residents.

This presidency will allow us to work in synergy with all the CCAS of the department, associations, and local authorities to develop desirable and essential social and medico-social actions for everyone.” explains the mayor of the city of Nice.
“More than ever, in this period of health crisis, the most vulnerable need support, innovative projects to help them. I know I can count on her and on the UDCCAS06 to develop projects for the benefit of the most disadvantaged, dependent and isolated seniors, families…” he adds.
