The Miss Côte d’Azur 2006 election took place on Friday, June 23, at the Salon Barrière of the Casino de Menton, in the presence of Madame Geneviève de Fontenay, Alexandra Rosenfeld, Miss France 2006, Mme Josiane Valette, and many other personalities.
Elodie Robert, a charming 22-year-old from Menton and previously elected Miss Menton last November, won the coveted title of Miss Côte d’Azur 2006 nearly unanimously among 13 candidates from the Alpes Maritimes department.
Her two runner-ups are: Magali Touitou, a young student from Nice studying at the Faculty of Sciences in Nice, and Christelle Massabo, also from Menton, who is preparing for a career as a flight attendant.
Elodie Robert, the new Miss Côte d’Azur, is a trilingual executive assistant at a four-star hotel in the Principality. She has been practicing dance and has had an interest in genealogy for about ten years.
By becoming Miss Côte d’Azur at the Casino Barrière, Elodie Robert has brilliantly secured a valuable passport that will allow her to compete for the title of Miss France 2007, on December 9 at the Futuroscope in Poitiers.
