Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée: the day when everything begins

Latest News

Last Sunday, voters had to choose what kind of France they want, and they chose social-liberalism over nationalism, openness over closure, and ultimately, a united Europe over a solitary France.

Emmanuel Macron, who today receives the keys to the Elysée from his predecessor François Hollande (without whom he would not be who he is), before continuing alone on the path of his personal ambition that led him to his crowning achievement, embodies this choice and this hope.

It is said that there is the France from above and the France from below. Today, it seems that there is a France from way above, a France from the side, and a France lower than low.

And then there is this France that everyone agrees to denounce and attack, and wants to destroy. Especially those who seem to be completely within the system.

The only certainty in this fractured France is that today it is no longer possible to lock oneself in one’s small world and comforts when one has them.

In this troubled period where ideological, moral, and social landmarks are definitively blurred, people, the real ones, needed an extra piece of soul.
