These results have been widely commented on by European political circles, for whom the situation in France is historic.

With the election of 350 deputies according to the final results, the alliance La République en Marche Modem far exceeds the absolute majority (289 seats) in the National Assembly.
The right (LR, UDI) would obtain 130 seats (including 17 for the UDI). 7 elected officials are various right.
The Socialist Party and its radical allies total 33 seats (including 30 for the PS). 12 elected officials are various left, one elected official belongs to EELV. In total, 46 elected officials.
La France Insoumise and the PCF, 27 seats (17 for La France insoumise, 10 for the PCF).
The National Front would have 8 seats.
Others: 8 seats, including 3 Corsican nationalists.
The real revolution comes from women. This year there will be 225 women seated in the National Assembly compared to only 107 in 2007 and only 76 in 2002.
Their breakthrough can be partly explained by the renewal of more than 1/3 of the Bourbon Palace. Many leaders did not wish to run again facing the law on the limitation of multiple mandates. Furthermore, a strong signal is being offered to them as the president wishes for a woman to sit in the chair of the assembly.
