Employment: job dating and play at the C.U.M

Latest News

This Tuesday, June 27, at the Mediterranean University Center (C.U.M), within the framework of “Businesses Commit,” the second edition of the event JOB DATING AND FORUM THEATER will take place. A day dedicated to “employability.”

The first edition of the JOB DATING AND FORUM THEATER event last year was a great success. Therefore, the new date this Tuesday, June 27, is expected to yield similar results. For this second edition, four hundred places are available. And the Mediterranean University Center (65 Promenade des Anglais) will host this event. From 4 p.m., participate in a job dating session with companies that are members of the “Businesses Commit” club from all sectors. For two hours, candidates will have the opportunity to interact in the hope of finding a job. A few words that sometimes open up a new horizon! At the end of this interview period, a presentation of the “Businesses Commit” community and the “Businesses Commit” Club of the Alpes-Maritimes will be hosted by Nadine Girard, Pauline Gane, and Elisabeth Fuchs.

Interactive Comedy and Roundtable

Afterwards, to relax from these often stressful interviews, an interactive comedy will begin at 6:15 p.m. Performed by the Reflet Theater Company, this interactive comedy “An Employee Named Desire” humorously addresses the various prejudices related to recruitment. Additionally, it highlights the many reasons that can drive employees to leave their company. This comedy thus invites reflection on certain aspects of the working world. Interactive, your experience and commitment will be essential to best guide the employer characters. Help these characters experience a successful recruitment and compassionate management!

Finally, this day will conclude with a roundtable and debates around “employability.” This neologism echoes new practices and actions on the themes of recruitment, management, and retaining employees. This roundtable will give the floor to professionals such as: François DELEMOTTE, Director, DDETS of the Alpes-Maritimes, Ghislaine ELLENA, Territorial Director, Pôle Emploi Alpes-Maritimes, Patrice BONY, Project Manager Employability, Pacte Civique, and finally Anne CAGNARD, President ANDRH Côte d’Azur and Leader Club “Businesses Commit” of the Alpes-Maritimes. The debates will continue briskly until 7:45 p.m.

What is “Businesses Commit”?

The “Businesses Commit” community, initiated by the state in 2018, is a testament to a desire for change in the working world. A world in which companies commit to a more inclusive and more sustainable society. Nearly 70,000 companies are brought together along with 101 departmental clubs and 300 people who act within this community daily and throughout France. This community animates unprecedented coalitions like this second edition of JOB DATING AND FORUM THEATER. In each French department, labor actors unite to fight unemployment and improve the world of work.
