End of the ARMAN inheritance conflict. A museum for the artist in Nice?

Latest News

Arman is a major artist of the 20th century, belonging to the Nouveau Rรฉalisme movement, known for his “colรจres” (anger), “accumulations,” “poubelles” (trash pieces), and “combustions.”

After many years of litigation between his wife and the daughters from a first marriage, the inheritance situation has been resolved. The parties have reached an agreement.

The “final clap” of the litigation will allow the Foundation to better respond to all the requests it receives today, be it for exhibitions, publications, and many other ongoing projects.

“An ARMAN Committee, which brings us together, has been created. The artwork will be able to regain its place,” declares Marion MOREAU, the eldest daughter of the artist and President of the A.R.M.A.N. Foundation. This Committee is primarily responsible for the authentication of artworks, the establishment of a catalogue raisonnรฉ, and the development of a museum project.
