Nice, a land of bicycles between sea and mountains, wanted the Tour de France again, after hosting the start of the 2013 edition. It will happen this year!
While waiting for the June 27th and 28th rendezvous for the Grand Départ, Christian Estrosi took advantage of the presence in Nice — on the occasion of the Sports Awards — of Christian Prudhomme, the director of the organization, and Bernard Thévenet, a two-time winner and ambassador of the Grand Départ. They were joined by former cyclists Fabien Barel, a world champion in mountain biking, and Amael Moinard, along with many enthusiasts, for a delightful ride on part of the city’s dedicated cycling network.
