For the 8th edition of the Environmental Awards Ceremony, Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, delivered a promising and encouraging speech for the city of Nice.
The Côte d’Azur is committed daily to the protection of the environment and sustainable development.
The people of Nice, including individuals, associations, and schools, were invited to contribute to improving the living environment of their city by participating in the Environmental Awards.
Therefore, 14 establishments, 11 associations, and one individual will be rewarded with a trophy aimed at improving the environmental quality of life in Nice.
Moreover, 4 schools received the honorary trophy, rewarding classes that participated in exchanges with Abidjan as part of a partnership with the “Sens Afrique” association.

Indeed, a second lush park will be built over nearly 30 hectares, which is equivalent to 15 football fields and more than triple the size of the green corridor (Promenade du Paillon).
A significant environmental advancement for our metropolis.
This natural park will be built over five years and will begin at the Charles Ehrmann stadium, ending at the Allianz Riviera stadium.

Young and old alike will be able to explore 5 hectares of the park in a year, roughly half the size of the Promenade du Paillon.
30 hectares to live, 30 hectares to breathe, stroll, and spend time with family, away from constructions and residences.
This project represents a significant environmental challenge and a diverse biodiversity for the well-being of all the people of Nice.
