Nice, the green city of the Mediterranean, boasts nearly 72,000 km² of green spaces within its territory, including 278 natural areas as well as 171 parks and gardens.
Furthermore, since 2008, 50 hectares of green spaces have been created through several large-scale projects such as the Promenade du Paillon, the Esplanade Georges Pompidou, the Eco-Vallée Park, and the “1 tree-1 child” operation.
As part of the “Environmental Appointments” and on the occasion of the national operation “Rendez-vous aux jardins,” this Saturday and Sunday, several guided tours will explore the city’s most beautiful parks and gardens, highlighting their botanical uniqueness and historical richness.
