The Social and Solidarity Economy represents nearly 10% of private jobs in the PACA region and serves as a lever for job creation.
European exchange program for creators in the Social and Solidarity Economy. The social and solidarity economy (SSE) brings together businesses that aim to combine economic activity with social utility. Prioritizing people over profit-seeking, they are organized around collective solidarity, shared power within the company, and reinvesting their profits into projects and services for people. Cooperatives, mutual societies, associations, and foundations form a significant economic actor to place humans at the heart of tomorrow’s economy.
CLAIE supports job-creating projects in the Social and Solidarity Economy by providing training, advice, and financing. This annually involves more than 130 structures and nearly 1500 jobs in the Alpes-Maritimes.
To participate in economic development and strengthen actions with high social utility, CLAIE implements a program aimed at:
Training new entrepreneurs in Europe,
Hosting European entrepreneurs by Social and Solidarity Economy enterprises in the PACA region.
To present this program, CLAIE is organizing an informational meeting on Thursday, June 6th at 9:30 am at the Saint Jean d’Angély University Conference Center, SAJ 2 building (located on the Nice Tramway line).
