Starting this evening and lasting until August 1st, seven municipalities in the department will host the Festival of Words, offering you seven encounters with readers of great talent: Richard Bohringer, Francis Huster, Daniel Mesguich, Stéphane Freiss, Richard Berry, Marie-Christine Barrault, Fanny Cottençon.
A genuine “invitation to travel” for all literature lovers and the
dedicated fans of the Festival of Words.
Seven of the leading names in French cinema and theater have agreed, to our
great delight, to bring to life great literary texts on the occasion of the
Festival of Words, which has become a cult event of the Summer Evenings in the
Alpes-Maritimes Department.
These renowned actors will, for the duration of the reading, become bearers of words
who will immerse us in the world of great writers, the pride of our
heritage.

Launch of the Festival of Words with Richard Bohringer
This Sunday at 9 PM in Saint Martin Vésubie under the marquee, as the opening of this festival, Richard Bohringer will share his passion for words and reading with the residents of Saint-Martin.
The multi-talented artist has chosen to recount to the audience excerpts
from his own works, including “C’est beau une ville la nuit” (Gallimard), “L’ultime conviction du Désir” (Flammarion), “Traîne pas trop sous la pluie” (Flammarion), and “Les nouveaux contes de la cité perdue” (Flammarion).
