On the occasion of the French Championship, the French League of the renowned video game “League of Legends” is setting up in Nice on July 5 and 6.
For those who are not familiar with the LFL Days, don’t worry. It’s an Esport competition organized by the French League of League of Legends. This league brings together the ten best teams in France, who will compete live in matches counting towards the Playoffs race. The competition spans two evenings, from 6 PM to 11 PM, and is broadcast in full on Twitch by OTP.
The schedule includes ten decisive matches that will conclude the regular season. You will find: AEGIS, Team Go, Karmine Corp, BK ROG Esports, Solary, LDLC OL, Vitaly Bee, Team BDS Academy, GameWard, and Izidream.
After the Success of 2022
More than a million unique visitors on Twitch, a peak audience of 200,000 viewers, and 2,500 fans cheering each night at the Palais des Congrès de Nice, the event generated significant excitement last year. Building on this success, the organizers have decided to return to Nice for the fourth edition of the LFL Days. Notably, the competition this year is being held at the Palais Nikaïa, which can accommodate up to 9,000 people.
Aware of the growing enthusiasm for Esport, the city of Nice is sparing no effort to advance electronic gaming in the region. For example, Christian Estrosi recently traveled to Canada to gain approval from ISART Digital, with the aim of opening a school for Esport and video games next academic year in Nice.
