OGCN continues its European adventure with a trip to Lazio’s turf in Rome tomorrow afternoon at 6:45 PM. This match will be the 4th in a series of five games in just two weeks.
After facing Real Sociedad last week, OGCN continues its tough European journey this Thursday. The team from Nice will take on one of the competition’s favorites, Lazio of Rome. It’s a challenging draw for the start of the competition, but it does not scare Franck Haise: “They play complete football […] It’s a complete team. It will be a good test to see where we stand.” However, the goal is clear for the Gym: to bring back the first victory of the season in the Europa League, especially after the solid draw secured eight days ago during the Aiglons’ competition debut. “We are going to continue our steep path. Yes, we need to be ready. We don’t have a choice against opponents of this caliber. We need to show our best version,” the coach specified.
Two returns and rotation expected
For this fourth match in 14 days, the Red and Blacks finally welcome some returns, namely Tanguy Ndombele and Mohamed-Ali Cho, whose injuries seem to have healed. Terem Moffi, Morgan Sanson, and Gaëtan Laborde remain in the infirmary, as does Melvin Bard. In the last three matches, eighteen players have had the opportunity to start.
