European Masters Games and SNCF: It’s possible!

Latest News

A few weeks after the signing of the agreement with the CPAM of the Alpes-Maritimes, it was once again in the wedding hall of the city hall that the SNCF and the European Masters Nice 2015 finalized a partnership regarding the games that will take place in Nice from October 1st to 11th, 2015.

And it was even a first because the city of Nice had never signed a partnership with the largest national and local carrier. This was accomplished between the first deputy, Philippe Pradal, and Gauthier Verrier, Deputy Director of SNCF TER Côte d’Azur, who said “yes” to each other and signed this agreement, which not only strengthens the visibility of the European Masters Games, but also promotes the use of TER/SNCF PACA lines by participants to implement the “Eco-Event Charter” from which the EMG benefits.

“It’s a first and we are delighted with this partnership, which is also part of a great and beautiful international sporting event that is going to take place in a perfect location, the city of Nice,” said a satisfied Gauthier Verrier.

Philippe Pradal echoed the sentiment: “We are very happy with this partnership and we hope it will lead to many others. It will provide numerous solutions for the thousands of athletes and their companions to travel around the region.”

For the European Masters Games team, composed mainly of agents from the Sports Department of the city of Nice, this is another significant step after the signing with the CPAM. Now, it remains to capitalize on all of this during the 150 days that separate them from the official opening of the competition.
