Charlotte Bonnet was the fastest yesterday in the semi-finals of the 100m at the European Short Course Championships. The final will take place in the afternoon.
She secured her position with a time of 51.71 seconds, setting a new French record and becoming the first Frenchwoman to swim under 52 seconds. The Nice native had held the previous record since November 30th with a time of 52.04 seconds achieved at the French Championships.
