With La Marseillaise, the Europétanque of the Alpes-Maritimes is one of the most prestigious international competitions.
Launched in 2014 as part of the Europétanque of the Alpes-Maritimes, the precision shooting qualifying competition has been a resounding success. For this edition, nearly 500 participants are expected across all of these qualifying rounds.
Organized by the departmental pétanque committee, the 6th edition of these qualifying rounds will take place in 9 stages spread throughout the department, with a final qualifying phase on Friday, June 28 at the DUC in Nice.
The dates of the 9 stages:
1) March 15 in Cantaron, ABM Cantaron
2) March 22 in Valbonne, AB Valbonne
3) April 12 in Cannes, AB Riou
4) April 26 in Nice, ASACRM
5) May 10 in Castagniers, CS Castagniers
6) May 17 in Saint-Martin-Vésubie
7) May 24 in Nice, Nice Métropole Pétanque
8) June 7 in Antibes-Juan-les-Pins, Pétanque Antiboise – La Pinède
9) June 14 in Eze, Eze Pétanque
2 players will be qualified per stage, which means 18 players in total. The 8 players who achieve the best results on Friday, June 28 at the DUC will be qualified for the final phase of the Europétanque of the Alpes-Maritimes.
