ExactCure: A Digital Twin for the Realization of Personalized Medicine

Latest News

A digital twin is the result of artificial intelligence that continues to evolve. The latter is a set of theories and techniques implemented to simulate human intelligence. ExactCure’s mission is to develop personalized bio-models, effects, and interactions of medicines within each individual’s body.

Partners for the second time, Dassault Systรจmes and Inria are presenting their strategic alliance by unveiling digital twins dedicated to the healthcare and cybersecurity sectors. This agreement “can serve as a model for cooperation between public agencies and companies,” says the CEO of Dassault Systรจmes.

Before the official launch of digital twins, Dassault Systรจmes showcased the progress of the project at CES 2022 in Las Vegas. Indeed, it is now possible to create a complete virtual twin of the human body. Their 3DExperience platform now allows for the reproduction of all kinds of virtual models of the heart, brain, and lungs. “Industry, researchers, doctors, and even patients can visualize, test, understand, and predict what cannot be seen before the patient is treated, from how drugs act on a disease to what can be expected from surgery,” states the Dassault Systรจmes group.

For its part, Inria’s mission is to conduct research on tools supporting diagnosis, analyzing medical exams, and personalizing treatments.
