The startups from the Côte d’Azur are integrating into the regional and national network for innovation enhancement. These innovative companies from Nice, Sophia, and the department will be able to participate in the exchange network established by Axelle Lemaire and the Government.
Patrick Allemand, vice-president of the Regional Council did not delay in expressing his utmost satisfaction: “With Aix, Marseille, Toulon, and now the Côte d’Azur, the PACA region is endowed with a tremendous potential of innovative companies, often launched with the financial support of PACA INVEST, the regional innovation fund, and then internationalized with the support of ARII (Regional Agency for Innovation and Internationalization).*
On the Côte d’Azur (Alpes-Maritimes + Monaco), the turnover of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) amounts to 4.05 billion euros, reaching a level of activity close to that of the 2000s.
The powerful ecosystem of Sophia Antipolis, along with numerous research centers (INRIA, Eurecom, CSTB, etc.) and training institutions (Polytech’Nice-Sophia, Mines ParisTech, ESSI, etc.) dedicated to ICT represents a significant attraction for companies in the sector.
