By inviting Arnaud Maguet and giving him “carte blanche,” the Galerie de la Marine is presenting a group exhibition of four artists: Jérôme Fino (Installations – Marseille), Myriam Tirler (Photography – Paris), Samson Guyomard (Installations – Lausanne), and Karine Meyffret (Sculptures and ceramics – Belvédère).
Arnaud Maguet, alongside his work as a visual artist, is the creator of the music label “Les Disques en Rotin Réunis” and a member of musical groups (ALPHA-60, Beauty & the Beat, the Grovers, Fingers On You). His work, highly diverse, is fueled by elements from the American counterculture of the 60s.
With this project, the Galerie de la Marine explores the theme of delay, the “delay” in English. The four artists will respond to it, each using their own medium. A rock record, produced by the Galerie and edited by Arnaud, will complement the exhibition.
