On the occasion of the centenary of the 1914-1918 war, the archives service of Saint Laurent du Var is preparing an exhibition for November 2018 on the daily lives of civilians and soldiers, as well as on how the community navigated this wartime period.
To make this exhibition as lively as possible, the archives service is organizing a collection of objects, testimonies, and photographs for the residents of Saint Laurent, from March 19 to April 27.
The documents and objects collected will be digitized or photographed on-site, so they can be promptly returned to their owners. This initiative honors the memory and courage of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom.
