Composed of paintings, drawings, artist’s books, ceramics, photographs, and video films, the exhibition “In Filigree” offers an overview from the 1980s to today of the creations of the artist André Marzuk.
The exhibition highlights the relationship to writing in the artist’s work. One of the constants in his work is indeed a dialogue between his series of paintings, drawings, or digital videos with writing.
Thus, excerpts, fragments, sentences, or words from poems, novels, essays, or philosophical reflections sow his work. André Marzuk has shared his art with poets and writers such as Aimé Césaire, Christian Bobin, Colette Fellous, Yvon Le Men, Ostad Elahi, or Olympia Alberti…
