Until June 4, the artist Anne Pesce will present her exhibition “The speed of light is 300,000 km/s” at the Galerie de la Marine, where her sketchbooks will be displayed.
Anne Pesce is a painter. For 25 years, she has traveled through the Southern Lands, the Antarctic Ocean, Iceland, Oslo, Helsinki, Tokyo, New York… She covers miles by foot, by bicycle, by boat, by plane… in search of shapes and views that she brings back to the studio. This experience of landscapes, whether natural or urban, is transcribed into her paintings.
Anne Pesce teaches at the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Nice. She was born in 1963 in Pantin.
