Since its creation over 20 years ago, the association VSArt (Volunteering and Support through Art) has been dedicated to improving the living conditions of people in situations of moral, physical, or material fragility by giving them access to culture and art through various and original actions. In Nice, the association particularly focuses its efforts on children from so-called “sensitive” neighborhoods.

The goal of VSArt volunteers: to promote young people’s access to art, engage their intelligence, observation skills, and critical thinking, evoke emotions in them, encourage them to create, and value them by organizing an event.

Throughout this year, children from several leisure centers in Nice (Agora Nice Est, Espace Soleil, Epilogue, La Semeuse, CEAS Espace Famille du Vallon des Fleurs) as well as residents of the Specialized Care Home at Canta Galet and the Hรฉlรฉna Retirement Home have been able to visit museums, meet artists, and become familiar with art. They then created their own artworks.

Thanks to the support of Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur, which provided VSArt with the Urban Planning Forum and organized the opening, the “budding artists” are presenting their exhibition until June 16, consisting of around a hundred artworks created around the theme “Doors, Windows, and Skylights.”
