Latest News

This Saturday, Fabien Bénard was re-elected President of the MoDem06 Federation for three years, with a substantial majority (86.96%), against a candidate, Madame Geneviève Marck, the outgoing National Counselor.

During this election, a new departmental council of eighteen members was also elected, which will meet in Beausoleil on Saturday, December 13. To support its projects, the Democratic Movement organizes itself into thematic commissions, the “Workshops of Ideas and Projects” (Economy, Education, Europe & International, Security & Justice, Culture and Heritage, Environment, Housing and Transport).

For Fabien Bénard, “It is a true ‘Factory of Hope,’ because Politics must regain its former glory and public debate must gain in new reflections and proposals.”

With this step completed, MoDem 06 is ready for the upcoming deadlines.

“Very quickly, the nominations committees for the departmental elections next March will be set up,” explains its new-old president.

He sets the tone: “The MoDem, following the political line of an independent center not forbidding any alliance, the candidates of the Democratic Movement or supported by the movement, will all carry projects related to the mandatory competencies of the General Council and be mindful of the proper use of public funds. We are in demand, quality individuals will seize the opportunity to respond to the challenges and priority issues for the Alpes-Maritimes*.”

To conclude with an announcement: “We can already announce that MoDem 06 will be present in the cantons of Le Cannet, Cagnes, Cannes, Contes, and Beausoleil. Our teams and candidates are preparing because it is out of the question to leave the management of ‘social issues,’ the primary budget of the General Council, to the National Front!”.
