Fabrice Pellerin has been appointed director of the French women’s team.

The news was announced by the new national technical director of the French Swimming Federation, Jacques Favre, this Tuesday in Limoges, on the sidelines of the French Championships: โ€œI have decided to appoint Fabrice Pellerin as the director of the French women’s team to parallel Romain Barnier, who will take care of the men. The idea is to create a small, clever, agile, mobile collective around the women to continue the beautiful story that started to develop in Doha. I wanted to distribute the strengths among the coaches and, moreover, Fabrice has, in Nice, some swimmers who are representative of female excellence.โ€

Fabrice Pellerin was the coach of Yannick Agnel and Camille Muffat. He led both of them to Olympic victory at the London Games in 2012.

Currently, he mainly takes care of Charlotte Bonnet, the best swimmer of the French women’s team.
