The songs of Bob Marley are familiar to all, even though few people know his personal story. This biopic tells the life of an iconic figure whose message of love and unity has left a lasting impact over generations.
2. The Imaginary Molière by Olivier Py
On February 17, 1673, at the Théâtre du Palais Royal in Paris, the king’s troupe performed the Imaginary Invalid. During the performance, Molière began to cough up blood, yet despite this, the actor persisted in playing. It would be his last appearance on stage.
3. Madame Web by S.J. Clarkson
The suspense-filled thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Web. Cassandra is a paramedic living in Manhattan who supposedly has clairvoyant abilities. The heroine will assist a trio of young women destined for a powerful future.
4. Dog and Cat by Reem Kherici
Dog and Cat is a French comedy blending humor and suspense. The story follows two unlikely duos: Monica, the owner of Diva, an internet-famous cat, and Jack, a thief accompanied by the dog that swallowed the loot from his heist. While on board a plane, the two passengers watch their animals escape through the window. They then embark on a tumultuous journey between Montreal and New York to find their four-legged companions.
5. 20,000 Species of Bees by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren
Aitor, nicknamed Coco by all, is an eight-year-old boy in search of identity during a summer in the Basque Country. With an androgynous appearance, he prefers to be called Lucia. The film follows his vacation in the family village where his grandmother and aunt live. This summertime, which will shake up their existence, will lead these women from three generations to reflect on their own lives.
