FESTIVAL DEANTIBULATION celebrates its 8th year in Antibes.

Latest News

For the 8th year, ACLA has worked on implementing a free program for all “dรฉantibulateurs” who come from near or far! The organization of such an event is possible thanks to the support listed in this program, but it is also and above all the result of behind-the-scenes work that is prepared over several months and comes to fruition over the course of a weekend.

For the eighth time, ACLA offers expert spectators, occasional audiences, or leisurely passersby a festival meant to be a reflection of vibrant art, a diverse and creative art with the aim of providing street performances with a space, venues, and a city where theater, dance, new circus, and music intertwine.

For three days, live performances will spread into those cracks that are streets and squares, transformed for the occasion into open-air play and performance spaces.

The wish is to encourage encounters; encounters with aesthetics, with prowess, with laughter and emotion; encounters between spectators and artists in the public space.

Letโ€™s share these moments…

Because street theater can spark the desire to discover live performances in auditoriums, because dance can leave the stage, because music is not just downloadable, and because circus arts have left the big tops.

And above all, letโ€™s share these moments…

Because street performances can foster connection, bringing people together beyond social and cultural differences.

Paul Arรจne School: the festival’s hosting venue

During the festival, the courtyard of Paul Arรจne School is used as a performance stage, but also as a meeting place between spectators and “dรฉantibulรฉs” artists.

Drinks and small dishes prepared by the volunteer organizing team are offered. The proceeds contribute to the festival’s funding.
