This Friday, March 6, marks the launch of the 12th edition of the Festival Femmes en Scรจnes at the Thรฉรขtre Francis-Gag, attended by the artists and the festival’s patron, Muriel Mayette-Holtz.
“It’s always so strange to talk about women when you’re a woman; it’s so natural, so vast to be a woman“, confessed the director of the Thรฉรขtre National de Nice.
Women are in the spotlight around this symbolic date of March 8 (International Women’s Rights Day). They will take the stage at 13 key cultural venues in Nice. They will make themselves heard, seen, and expressed through song, music, dance, theater, and cinema.
From March 5 to 14, women take over the artistic landscape of Nice.
Find them at the Thรฉรขtre Francis Gag, Espace Magnan, the Louis Nucรฉra Library, the Palais Lascaris, Thรฉรขtre de la Citรฉ, the Museum of Photography, La Providence, Thรฉรขtre de lโImpasse, Cinรฉma Mercury, Svetร Gallery, and L’Orange Bleue Arts School.
The inauguration will be followed by the performance of Mรฉtanoรฏa le prรฉsage du papillon, written and performed by Mรฉlissa Prat (Production: Cie l’Albatros et l’รlรฉphant).
